Privacy Policy

How tammyrumberger.com handles the information you share. Last updated June 2026.

This policy explains what personal information Tammy Rumberger, RN, collects through tammyrumberger.com, how that information is used, and how it is kept confidential. Tammy is a private registered nurse and care advocate, not a clinical or billing provider. By using this site or reaching out for help, you agree to the practices described below.

Information collected

What you provide

When you use the contact form or book a consultation, you decide what to share. That usually includes your name, email address, and phone number, along with whatever you choose to tell Tammy about your family's situation: a parent's diagnoses, medications, providers, and the kind of help you are looking for.

What is collected automatically

Like most websites, this site records basic technical details when you visit, such as your browser type, the pages you view, the time of your visit, the site that referred you, and an approximate, region-level location. This is standard web-server logging, and it does not identify you personally.

How that information is used

The details you provide are used to respond to your inquiry and answer your questions, to schedule and confirm a consultation, and, if you decide to work together, to coordinate and advocate for your family's care. In practice that can mean reviewing medications, preparing for appointments, and communicating with your providers on your behalf. Technical information is used only to keep the site running and to understand, in a general way, how it is used. Your information is never sold, rented, or traded to anyone.

Confidentiality and health information

Advocacy work involves sensitive details about a family's health and medical care, and all of it is treated as strictly confidential. This private advocacy service is not a clinical or billing provider, and it is not a covered entity under HIPAA. Even so, the information you share is handled with the confidentiality expected of a registered nurse, and it is never disclosed to anyone without your consent, except where the law requires it.

Third-party services

A few trusted services help this site run, and each keeps its own privacy policy.

  • Formspree delivers the contact form. Information you submit through the form passes through Formspree on its way to Tammy.
  • Calendly handles consultation scheduling. If you book a time, the details you enter are processed by Calendly.
  • Hostinger hosts the website and keeps standard server logs.

This site self-hosts its fonts, so no outside font provider, such as Google Fonts, receives any information about your visit.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not run analytics or advertising pixels. The hosting provider and the scheduling tool may set basic functional cookies that the site and booking need in order to work. None of them follow you across other websites or build an advertising profile.

Data retention

Information you share is kept only as long as it is needed to respond to you, to provide advocacy services, and to meet any legal obligations. If you become a client, records related to your family's care are kept for a reasonable period afterward and are then securely deleted. You can ask to have your information deleted at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information held about you, to correct anything that is inaccurate, to delete your information, or to stop being contacted. To make any of these requests, use the contact form, and Tammy will take care of it.

Children's privacy

This site is meant for adults arranging care for a family member. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and information is not knowingly collected from minors. If you believe a minor has shared information here, contact Tammy and it will be removed.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Any change will be posted on this page with a new last updated date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
